The EX-230UHD is an HDMI extender that transmits media signals to a display up to 230 feet away. Supporting video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz and 2K@60Hz, it is HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 compliant. It supports 18Gbps video bandwidth. It can extend media signals to one display up to 230 feet at 1080p@60Hz and up to 131 feet at 4K@60Hz using a CAT 6/7 cable. The transmitter includes an HDMI loop output, allowing you to connect a display next to the source. The EX-230UHD also features bi-directional IR functionality, RS-232 pass-through, and Power over Cable (PoC) technology, which means the entire setup requires only one power adapter. It is ideal for both residential and commercial setups.
Yes, you can purchase these things directly from us. Please contact us & we will assist you further.
No, this product doesn not extend multiple screens. It will duplicate the input sources to multple outputs.
Yes, you will be able to get a signal beyond the mentioned distance but the quality of the video decreases with increase in the distance and that too when using with shielded CAT6 cable.
Yes, you can implement the daisy chain method.
Both the ends of the CAT cable should be termed as EIA-568B & the cable should be straight & not crossed.
We recommend you to use High-Quality HDMI cables & shielded CAT6 cables.
Yes, you can purchase the additional transmitter from us. Please contact us & we will let you know the price.
Yes, you can purchase the additional receiver from us. Please contact us & we will let you know the price.
No, this product doesn't upscale/downscale the video resolutions.
You can extend the display devices up to 400 Feet when using with a shielded CAT6 cable.
The issue might be with the CAT cable. This might be due to the external interference of the signals & CAT5e has low bandwidth as compared to the CAT6. We recommend you using shielded CAT6 cable.
If the power and link led lights does not illuminate on the RJ45 port of the transmitter and the receiver, then the transmitter & receiver might be dead.
Please contact us so that we can troubleshoot the issue.
You can upgrade the firmware by connecting the PC & this device via RS-232 cable.
Please note that this product only supports the CEC function between HDMI input & HDMI output 1.
No, optical output doesn't supports CEC due to its limitations. CEC will work only with HDMI devices.
HDBaseT is the technology used for long distance transmission of lossless signals, resulting extremely low latency & giving the best picture quality.
In normal extenders, if you extend your signals up to some extend, the quality of the signals will degrade & you may find some latency issues. HDBaseT is the lastest standard which provides extending your signals to the longer distance without degrading the quality of the signals & with 0 latency.
We recommend you using a shielded CAT6 cables for optimum performance.
Our all the extenders supports IR Frequency & the devices using RF frequency will not be compatible with our products.
The IR Blaster/Emitter should be connected to the IR out port on the Transmitter and the IR Receiver should be connected to the IR in on the Receiver.
