The EX-230PRO-KVM HDMI Extender features support for resolutions up to 4K@30Hz. It can extend an HDMI signal up to 40m/130ft at 4K@30Hz and 70m/230ft at 1080p@60Hz over a single CAT6/6A/7 cable. This device is HDMI1.4, HDCP 1.4 & USB 2.0 compliant. The device requires a point-to-point connection and also supports KVM functionality. KVM allows you to connect a keyboard and mouse at the Receiver end to control the PC or Laptop connected at the source. Power over cable technology; only requires a power adapter at the Transmitter end, giving more flexibility to the setup. The device features a robust metal build and compact size for easier installation. This plug-and-play device is perfect for outdoor advertising, monitoring systems, home office, conference, etc.

You can extend the display devices up to 230 Feet when using with a shielded CAT6 cable.
The issue might be with the CAT cable. This might be due to the external interference of the signals & CAT5e has low bandwidth as compared to the CAT6. We recommend you using shielded CAT6 cable.
If the power and link led lights does not illuminate on the RJ45 port of the transmitter and the receiver, then the transmitter & receiver might be dead.

The IR Blaster/Emitter should be connected to the IR out port on the Transmitter and the IR Receiver should be connected to the IR in on the Receiver.
